Latest Updates

Unity 6.5 Compatibility Verified

PanoShard has been tested and confirmed compatible with Unity 6.5. Streaming, LOD, and VR paths all pass cleanly under the latest editor. Upgrade notes added to the documentation.

Brand Update: PanoShard Name Adopted

The product has been rebranded to PanoShard. The name better reflects the shard-based tile architecture at the core of the renderer. All documentation, Asset Store listings, and tooling will be updated accordingly.

As a lot of tutorials have been recorded already, the mentions of old name won't be immediately updated.

Open-Source Demo Released on GitHub

A fully functional demo project is now available free on GitHub. It covers tile streaming setup, hotspot placement and floor plan integration - a ready-made starting point for your own 360° projects.

Discord Support Server Live

A dedicated Discord server is now open for PanoShard users. Get help with setup, share projects, report issues, and follow development updates directly from the team.

Tutorial Series Published on YouTube

A full tutorial series covering installation, tile splitting, hotspot setup, floor plans, and WebGL deployment is now available on the Reshardic YouTube channel.

Performance Pass: Optimized Transitions & Tile Scheduling

A significant internal performance update landed — improved tile scheduling algorithms reduce overdraw at zoom boundaries, fade transitions are smoother across all LOD levels, and mesh calculations are more cache-friendly on mobile and WebGL targets.

Unity 6 Upgrade Complete

The framework has been fully migrated to Unity 6, with URP compatibility reviewed and render path dependencies updated. All bundled example scenes, editor windows, and streaming tools have been verified under the new engine version.

Website Launch & Approaching Release

New reshardic.com launched with comprehensive documentation, live WebGL demos, and a product page for PanoShard. First public release on the Unity Asset Store is entering final testing.
